What gives you pure happiness…..

What gives you pure happiness…..

  • Blissful Children and/or Grandchildren?
  • Healthy Lifestyle?
  • Sincere and/or Insincere Friends?
  • Targets that you yourself have chosen to achieve? (You actually don’t realize when you achieve them.)?
  • A loving Partner?
  • Concerned and caring parents?

List is endless and so are the desires that’ll sedate you of thinking that when you achieve them, you will be complete or perfect.

But don’t you feel all our life we are busy setting goals for ourself and on accomplishing them immediately jump to our next desire,a new goal.Do we actually stop to celebrate that achievement?

Its like while cooking your favourite recipe, you sweat  yourself out  in kitchen so much that you forget your actual aim-to enjoy the gourmet on the table. Having a hard time in kitchen makes you forget your aim.Its the taste of that food you are longing for not the efforts during the making.

So don’t lose it dear, otherwise you will end up gulping down your favourite food without enjoying it on your way back home from your office.

Its good to have targets if they make your journey worthwhile. We should know where we are heading.

They say”you can’t hit it if you can’t see it”but don’t  just rush, journey is even important.

“Life is not where you arrive at but what you become of.”

Quest for happiness is complete when you know what makes you happy.Focus on your happiness whether it is during the process or in achieving the goal.

  1. I remember author Kim Woo Choong who said that he keeps on introspecting source happiness and has observed that to him, it comes when one is useful to others.I agree to that.Again the prerequisite (in my opinion ) to reach that would be freedom to do what you want to do thus leading to self worth a great area of individual’s introspection.

A great article which made me to ponder once again whatever I am doing if I would like to do it all over again?
